I heart photographs

My name is Taylor, and I've been making photographs all my life.  If you like what you see, and if you would like to work with me, in any way, let's talk.

Photography isn't really my career

Making photographs is not my job, it's just one of my favorite things to do.  By day, I am the Communications Coordinator at a private, non-profit K-7 school in Fayetteville, AR.  Being a free-wheeling, freelancing, non-professional photographer, I have the freedom to choose assignments that interest me or sound like fun.  That being said, once I choose to work with a client, I take the committment seriously, and I take care to deliver my best work in a prompt and professional manner.

If you like the photographs you see on this site, I might like working with you.  Don't hesitate to contact me with any request, however prosaic or preposterous.  I love working with small businesses and non-profits.  I thrive on being out and about, photographing special events, from semi-historical moments to magically mundane scenes of everyday life.

Rates: I charge for my time

For most of my work, I charge per hour of shooting time.  I don't charge extra for basic digital editing and processing of the images, and I don't charge for the digital images themselves.  Every client will receive a DVD of all the full-sized images, and will be given access to the images in an online, password protected gallery throughphotos.mtaylorlong.com

Standard Freelance Rate

First Hour of Shooting: $175

Second Hour of Shooting: $100

All Subsequent Hours of Shooting: $50 per hour

REHIRE RATE: For clients that wish to rehire me, I will continue to charge only $50 per hour, so long as the shoot occurs within 3 months of the last shoot.

Non-Profit Reduced Rate

Ask me about my reduced rate for non-profits and charities.  If you need great photographs for a good cause, contact me, no-matter what your budget is.  I'm a sucker for good causes.
